Founder & Pastor — Mike Aylestock
Pastor Mike Aylestock grew up in Northern Virginia in the 50′s and 60′s. After graduating from Bible college in the
1970′s, Mike began his ministry. For over 30 years he has served churches in Canada and Virginia in the capacity of church-planter, pastor and college professor. Betty Aylestock was raised in Toronto, Ontario in a preacher’s home and has been an integral part of Mike’s ministry during these 30+ years.
Chris Cisler
Chris Cisler has lived in Northern Virginia for most of his life. He began attending Community Baptist Church in 1998 and later surrendered to salvation through Jesus Christ and was baptized.
Chris surrendered to preach in August of 2001 and earned his bachelor degree at a Virginia Bible college from 2001-2004. While at college he met Erika and upon graduation they married. Shortly after college Chris returned to Community Baptist Church to work on staff full-time.
Erika was raised in central Florida where she was saved in 1997. Her pursuit of an Elementary Education degree began in 2001. She graduated with that degree in 2004, having been named Salutatorian of her class. Erika has become a valuable asset in Chris’ ministry.
Chris & Erika are, in large measure, a product of CBC. God used this church in Chris’s life when saving him and calling him to preach. Chris & Erika each served on staff and were instrumental in various ministries. Now we are sending their family to carry the gospel of Jesus Christ to the people of Uruguay and replicate CBC in that country.
You can follow their mission work in Uruguay at Missionaries to Uruguay.
