A United Team (1 Corinthians 1:10)

Pastor Mike Aylestock, July 8, 2012
- Miscellaneous, preached at a Sunday Morning service

One of a church's greatest dangers is division. A key source of division is the attitude of the church family toward their leaders. Today CBC welcomes into the church family the Jon Stone family. Jon Stone has joined Mike Aylestock, the two forming a pastoral team. Pastor Mike highlights the significance of this day by turning our attention to a church in the Bible embroiled in rivalry over her leaders. We found God's answer as preventative medicine for a united team seeking to remain that way.

10Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you; but that ye be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment. (KJV)
